PTM is sponsoring parent educator Penny Davis to facilitate a Positive Discipline parenting class at Montessori in Redlands. The class will be held Tuesdays, October 5 through November 16, 2010 from 6:15 p.m.–8:15 p.m. in the Yoga Room.

Positive Discipline is a child rearing method that focuses on raising children to be responsible, resourceful individuals in a manner that is respectful of them as well as the adults raising them. Using case studies, role play, and group discussion, the class tackles your tough parenting challenges in a supportive atmosphere.

The cost for the 7-week course is $100 per person or $175 per couple. PTM will pay for the accompanying Positive Discipline books. To register, sign up in the office by Thursday, September 30.
