| Administrative
Staff Under the direction of
the Head of School the administrative staff manages the day-to-day
operations of our school. This staff includes an Accounting
Manager, an Admissions Coordinator, a Human Resources Specialist,
a Facilities Manager, a Director of Development, an Administrative
Assistant, and a receptionist. |

| Leadership
Maura C. Joyce, M.Ed., the Head of School, is responsible for
the daily operations of our school. She came to MIR September
of 1999 from Washington, D.C. She has teaching experience in
Montessori Elementary and Middle School classes, as well as
experience teaching high school math and computer science courses. |
In
addition to both AMI Primary and Elementary diplomas, Maura
earned a Masters in Education from Loyola College. She has lectured
at the AMI Administrator's workshop, the Montessori Institute
in San Diego, and the Oxford Roundtable at Oxford University,
England. Maura also has Ropes Course Facilitator certification
and experience. In addition to administrative duties, she maintains
close ties to all classrooms, students, and parents.
