The
Primary children explode into learning through their experiences
in the classroom. This is an exciting time for the children
in the Montessori program. Students become more and more
independent and are capable of more concentrated work. Through
a series of activities children begin to read and write.
They become more aware of the world in which they live, studying
the continents, animals, plants, and other cultures. They
work with concrete materials to learn mathematical concepts
including the decimal system, geometry and fractions.
